Life threw me a curveball when I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer just as I hit 36. The journey had me go through chemo, a lumpectomy, radiation, and then some more discoveries - brain lesions hinting at MS, and even a hole in my heart requiring surgery (TBD).

`But you know what? Life's biggest challenges can bring out our strongest resilience! I ran my own business, Maid in Charlotte, for 8 years until my diagnosis forced me to press pause. What would come next? I had no clue. But then, life happened again! A teen crashed into our only car totaling it right as I started radiation ( which is an everyday therapy, for me it a total of 25 rounds, 25 days, Monday -  Friday.)  Thankfully, everyone was alright. But the silver lining? This incident funded the start of the dry polish you have grown to know and love - Voided Cat Designs!

Now I create dry nail polish strips, turning a passion into a product.  Born from my desire to express my style and a need for safety during chemotherapy when a nail salon visit was a no-go. Voided Cat Designs is more than just polish - it's the story of resilience, a celebration of individuality, and a community of survivors!
